Bed Bug Control Buckinghamshire

Heat Treatment Specialists

We provide bed bug control in Buckinghamshire using heat treatment with over 30 years experience in the pest control industry. We have dealt with all types of pest and tried many different Bed Bug Control treatments. Over time Bed Bugs have become resistant to insecticides so as technology advanced we invested in chemical free heat treatment machines.

Bed Bug control using heat treatment can eradicate the bed bugs and many other insects using the correct temperatures in one visit. Ensuring that the treatment is at the correct temperature for the correct length of time allows the treatment to take full effect. We use specialist software controlled via Wifi heat sensors to constantly measure the heat which maximises the kill rate.

We constantly monitor the treatment to ensure there are no cold spots in the room and that the temperature is consistently maintained for the correct length of time to ensure both insect and eggs are eradicated.

How it Works

Heat Treatment

We use discreet industrial heaters which can be quickly setup for the treatment. The heat treatment acts as a closed system, recycling the heated air inside the building through an intake port, over heating coils and then out into the treatment area.

Each time the air passes through the heater it imparts more energy into the air, producing higher temperatures. Our industrial heaters have thermal regulator switches which allow us to set them to the required temperature.

We can set up the heat treatment area, close the door and regularly check using Wifi heat sensors to monitor the heat levels.

Our heaters provide a 100% kill, 100% of the time. Heat is the most effective insect and bed bug control treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Bed Bug Control Buckinghamshire

We have put together a collection of answers to questions we are commonly asked below but if there is anything we have not covered please contact us.

What is Heat Treatment?

Bed bugs do not like the heat, and for good reason. Heat will kill Bed bugs. We will increase heat slowly up to 141 Degrees Fahrenheit which can take 6-8 hours depending on how well thermal insulated the premises are, once them temperatures are reached then bed bugs and their eggs will die in under 2 hours.

Heat treatment is one of the best ways to ensure that you can get rid of bed bugs without multiple treatments. You also can treat large areas without removing of personal items.

Is it safe?

Our Heat treatment process is a completely safe. We monitor the levels of heat with thermal imaging camera every 5 minutes, and use thermostats to level the heat gradually, if our machines reach a temperature we have set, the machines will automatically turn off.

Our process uses no chemicals during the treatment, ensuring that there isn’t any poison or residue to worry about. Anything that may be harmed by heat such as your pets or objects will be removed from the treatment area and can be treated with a different method.

Where can treatments be used?

You can use our Bed Bug control Treatments for your whole house or business. We can do the treatment through a whole home or in an individual room.

The only concern with doing a whole home is that heat treatments cannot completely pass through walls and doors. To ensure complete coverage multiple devices should be used (for example one in each room). This will impact Bed Bugs as the heat from adjoining rooms can reach lethal temperatures and leave no hiding spaces for the Bed Bugs.

Do I need to do anything before the treatment?

We have put together a helpful preparation guide for you that can be downloaded so you know exactly what needs to be done prior to our visit. Please visit our Bed Bug Preparation page.

Does the treatment kill the bed bugs?

Instead of causing the insects to leave or putting them in a state of hibernation, the heat treatment kills bed bugs. Not only does it kill bed bugs, it kills them at all points in their lives. Bed bugs go from eggs and eventually become adult bugs. At all stages of our bed bug heat methods will kill them, ensuring that none are left behind.

Our Bed Bug Control can eliminate the bugs from your home. You don’t have to worry about the problems that they could present going forward.

Are your treatments guaranteed?

All our treatments come with a 6 month guarantee.
